I was just wanting to be nosy and ask if we have any events (quick 8,gear jammers,big money races,etc.) scheduled so far for 2010? The reason I ask is I have had different people(racers & spectators) ask me about the Quick 8 race that had been talked about to see when & if it was going to be run. I know that getting the track raceable is the #1 priority.

He had wanted to have the first Quick 8 this weekend but after the rain and other stuff he decided the track wasn't quite ready for that this weekend. I believe that we should be on schedule to have that in April. I think we'll have a better idea after tomorrow.
I can tell you all this, I have been in contact with Scotty Richardson about having his school come to our track. It's looking like he will be here the first of August. Ya'll take a look at his website and see if you are interested in participating. I don't have every detail yet but will soon. This will be for Box and No-Box. I believe its open to 16 of each class. I'll try to finalize the details this coming week and let you all know. Then we will start signing people up and will have to take a deposit from each racer. Let us know what you think....and if you think its a bad idea, well then we will just blame this one on Sticks

Good deal!!......so I hope that the ones that read will help the Greer Dragway Staff get the word & let's have a great deal of participation for the school. I just hate that some of us will be on vacation that week. I think that the school can be a good thing for the race track and for the racers. I mean we are 3x champs and if we get any better I don't think the other tracks can handle it.....lol!! I also think that after saturday G-Max is ready for some Quick 8/Outlaw racing action. I know if you kept your foot in one spot for too long you wasn't getting it back.

Hopefully we can get Sticks and Double Barrell to come back from Vacation in time to get them to sign autographs for everybody attending the school....
