Looking Good, just hope ever who does the grinding knows the texture it should be. The surface at Union and Commerce is 2 slick and rubber will not stick.

Maybe somebody will run the left lane now! It will be nice to have cars lined up in both lanes instead of just one. :) It looks good, can't wait to lay some rubber down on it. :D

I can't speak for union as I haven't ran there yet, but I'm guessing you haven't been to commerce. I've raced the last 3 whole seasons there. They have no issue with rubber not sticking and the track surface has been great for me. heck a stock suspension drag radial mustang set the outlaw radial record there in july... 4.53.

I'm excited to see that Greer is making these improvements; can't wait to come back and race there! The track looks awesome! But i was curious about the walls... anybody know why they poured the track first? I thought it was standard procedure to pour walls first. Either way it's going to be really nice.

I only live 25 minutes from Commerce, I have walked it end to end and the rubber is not bonding worth a crap, also I run there pretty often with troubles getting from A to B like most that run bracket cars. 08 Mullis dragster and a Dale Maddox 4 link vega so I don't think it the cars.
Hope to race Greer more in 2010
