Seems as though the NFL Silly Season for trading has reached its climax today. In a Landmark Move today, and you have heard it here first folks, Former Clemson University Quarterback Charlie Whitehurst is being considered in a trade for Multi-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning. Whitehurst, who currently plays for the Seattle Seahawks as a 2nd string QB, has received an offer from the Indianapolis Colts that will send the Former Clemson QB to the Colts as the staring QB and send Manning, former Tennessee Volunteers QB, to the Seahawks. Seems as though with the string of injuries plauging Manning during the off-season and speculation about the up-coming season doubts with Manning, the Colts are desperate to make a move before the regular season begins. Whitehurst has already begun his season with a pre-season game last night involving the Seahawks and San Diego Chargers, which sparked the proposed trade today after an absolute spectacular game from Whitehurst. Whitehurst lead the Seahawks 2nd string offense to 10 consecutive points on back to back 2nd half drives before being pulled from the game by Head Coach Pete Carroll. Carroll commented today on the proposed trade, "Charlie is truly going to be missed from our offensive plans for this year, but we will do what we can with Peyton as our back-up. I wish only the best for Charlie as the starting QB for the Colts and I may have messed up by not using him more with my 1st string players here. Charlie could be a star one day." News about the proposed trade has created a buzz in the upstate of South Carolina and especially at Whitehurst's former college, Clemson University. Clemson Athletic Director,Terry Don Phillips, commented today about Whitehurst, "Charlie was a cornerstone of our Football Program here at Clemson during his stay. He possessed every attribute that you could ask for out of a QB...He scrambled well, Handed the ball off to the Running Backs with ease, Called the plays in the huddle with clarity, and could recover fumbled snaps with the best. We knew Charlie had a bright future ahead of him." News of the proposed trade are sure to increase souvenir sales with Charlie's #10 football jersey once the news breaks nationwide. This trade is sure to create an enormous amount of talk with all the major sport medias and Football analyst.

First off let me apologize for the lack of news reporting for the past few months....But we have Breaking News coming out of Orange Town aka Clemson University!!! Seems as though the decline of the past few weeks has begin to have a stirring effect in the current coaching situations across the College Football scene. With "THE" Ohio State University news this week of hiring new Head Coach Urban Meyers (Former Head Coach at the University of Florida and ESPN analyst) has had a trickling effect down to Death Valley. With the recent string of losses occuring to The Clemson Tigers Football Team and with added pressure from Athletic Director, Terry Don Phillips, and IPTAY Boosters, rumors are beginning to leak like a used tea bag!!! Seems as though the stakes are high on the current Offensive Coordinator at Clemson, Chad Morris, who has brought a rejuvinated offensive spirit to the once down Clemson Offense. Because of his "new found" offensive prowness, has caught the attention of Urban Meyer. The two have supposedly had undisclosed communication regarding the Coaching Position at "THE" Ohio State University. It is rumored that Morris could be announced to the coaching position as soon as this week. This would unevitably have an effect on the Clemson Offense this weekend as they play Virginia Tech for the ACC Championship in Charlotte, NC on Saturday at 8:00 pm. But wait the news does not stop there.............

With the breaking news of Morris, reports are just coming in that star Freshman Wide Receiver Sammy Watkins for Clemson is considering transferring to "THE" Ohio State University. Its being reported that Watkins says he cant see himself playing for any other Offensive Coordinator?? This could bring major implications to the all ready struggling Clemson University Football Programs....as the old saying goes, the grass could always be greener on the other side???

This Breaking News just in... P.E.T.A. ( People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has just issued a statement regarding a prompt ivestigation in the Anderson, South Carolina area in regards to a possible case of Animal Cruelty. Anderson County authorities are investigating a hit-n-run off Hwy. 247 in the Belton/ Honea Path area regarding a goat....thats right folks a goat!!! Deputies have not caught the suspect involved with the incident but have a few leads on the vehicle involved. They are looking for a Newer Model Honda, dark in color with South Carolina license plates and possibly a Clemson Tigers decal. The motive for this incident is unclear and authorities suspect foul play. The goat was pronounced dead on the scene and Animal Control Officials were called to the scene.

P.E.T.A. official Julie Fleenor released this statement..."We at P.E.T.A. are saddened at the news of this tragic incident. Goats are part of the Animal Kingdom and should be treated with the respect and dignity of all animals. We will not stop this investigation until the suspect is brought to justice."
