A fella from another site I visit use to run at Shuffletown. He moved to Washington State but came back to visit and took this pic the other day. RIP Shuffletown.

Man that pic realy sux!!!!!!!!!!! I remember that track in its heyday and it was awsome all we got now is the memorys...

That is sad. I used to run there every sun. There were 3 or 4 of us called it the shady shuffle. Myself, Kevin Scales,and all the Ivesters just to name a few.
WE ran SS Friday night Greer sat. & shuffle town Sun every week. :(

Boy that is sad , We use to run W/S on Friday,Greer Saturday,Shuffletown Sunday,That was the good old days when Larry Wright ,Had 2 on the line 2 in the water and 2 Getting ready eaaaaassssssssy Now, :D :D

Well I wasn't as fortunate as some of you to run at Shuffletown but would have loved to. I remember people talking about it but it closed around the time I started racing. However as some has mentioned, I miss the days of running at SS on Fri and Greer on Sat. At SS when they still had the staging on the creek side it would be slam packed every Fri. We are lucky to have so many tracks to go to fairly close.

I remember one Sunday Bob motes was running that jet powered semi truck. When he took off Larry said he moved the big oak tree behind the staging lanes back 3 feet. :lol:

I'm with you A-Wood, I don't remember ever going(unless I was too young to remember). I have heard a TON about it from my dad & others. He talked about going to race 3 nights a week as some of the others had
