It has been over 2 months since our last PTRA points race. The Farmington Race was cancelled then a race was posponed when lightning took out the timing system but finally we get back to it. This race is just down the road 38 miles from home so Big Dave and I aren't expecting any adventure like the MRC group had when they went to race.....LOL. Should be a long day with a complete PTRA race on top of the final points bracket race so it should be a crowded. Wish us luck and hope we all have a dry and Safe race day. McCoy

Good Luck to you Joe!! Go take it to them tomorrow......I'm glad you are getting Big Dave out of the house taking him racing with you....lol!! He needs to get that 'Stang out and come burn some more rubber down @ The G-Max.
Sticks...hoping The Real McCoy has a better adventure than the MRC group did in AL!!

Thanks Sticks, Big Dave and I had a good test session last night so if we can all stay dry today we may be OK. Got a very late meal at Genes last night and got to be back early this morning. Hope we all stay dry and have safe races. Remember today is 9/11 so rememebr the brave souls we lost on this day to cowards who attack innocent citizens to make their stuid ass point.

We sort of stunk the place up Shane......LOL. It rain delayed several hours but when they got dried everyone got 1 pass and we went racing. We qualifed 3rd and lost first round on a bad light. Opponent was .001 so while we ran 5.31 to his 5.32 we was toast. Then the guy who was second in 5.30 points, and the defending series champion, qualifed #1 and then won the race. He should have a 15 point lead on us now with 2 races to go. The bracket race finally got rained out at midnight when it started to pour rain. I think there were 10 cars still in with Varner and Snow both tied in points and trying to win the track championship. This was the final points race so not sure how that is going to turn out. Snow may post and let us know what's happening with that.

Well Joe u have weekends like that(and i have them pretty often)

Maybe u will have better luck at the next 2 and can grab the points lead back and win the championship.
I havent actually talked 2 Mike Snow but i have heard thru the grape vine that Mike Snow was declared the winner of Unions points. IF that is true congrats 2 Mike Snow and that bad lil nova.

Yes Shane we're hoping to be able to step up and do better. We hadn't lost first round in 5.30 ever so it was disappointing to get treed that bad. But if this stuff was easy everyone would do it.......LOL. I was parked next to Mike Sat but when the sky fell at Midnight I just got in the truck and came home. Nothing against Varner but I was pulling for Snow. He has been tough to beat and earned a great year. Hope he won it.
