All was find dandy when we left maddox race cars 7:30 on thursday night after shane and kevin had to wait on CJ to get there, we get on the road and everything is going smooth then we stopped at lavonia and grabbed some mcdonalds to go (by the way there is good looking woman working at the mcdonalds in lavonia) lol, then we get back on the road go through atlanta as the braves get the last out of the game, then shane almost misses our exit and goes across three lanes of heavy traffic with no warning to poor kevin who was left behind with no where to go, but he ran three cars and a moped off the road and made exit as well. Then things calmed down and we moved down the road and then we rolled across the alabama state line as our phones rolled back an hour in time, then everette short gives us a call wandering where we are and when end up meeting him and matthew batson in Auburn to get a room at the Sleep Inn(which was a very nice motel) after it took kevin 15 minutes him trailer we got inside to our room where we watched the usc vs Hawaii football game then we got a good nights rest. As we awaken on Friday morning we enjoy a warm shower and a cold boiled egg then we decided to go to mcdonalds for breakfast after the breakfast at the sleep inn wasnt to appealing, as we pull in to mcdonalds shane proceeds to drive all over the curbing, and kevin follows his lead what two boneheads. Then we get on the road and as we go through tallasee kevin attempts to call me and shane with no sucess as he has blown a trailer tire then we see his missed call look in the mirror and he is no where to be found so we pull over and help him change his tire. Then we move on to montgomery as we pull in the gate me and shane get the shaft and Kevin gets the girl. Then as we roll through the pits looking at the many victims of the weekend we get everything unloaded. Kevins first hit he was perfect, Shane wasnt far behind, and i was off in left field. As practice came to an end first round approached kevin works Troy Williams and then wins again in his Second entry, Me and shane have to visit the buy back window. Second Round we are all sucessful. Third Round kevin losses an entry and me and shane are still rolling. As fourth round came about shane was the first one to lose and we followed his lead. But everette short was still goin rounds as he comes up a little short and finishes third. Then shane whips up supper and the hottest hot wings me and kevin has ever ate but he sure can fix a mean weiner. Then we get back on the road and to find a motel, the first one we stopped at they only has single beds and we was not having that. Then we come about the America's Best Inn and the sign Lied because this is the sketchiest motel we have ever stayed at, at this moment we are scared for our lives and we have the room barricaded please pray for us. Goodnight and see you tomorrow

I do not even know what to say to that story.....

Hopefully the story for Saturday will go something like.....
Well we made it through the night at this sketchy motel, although we were all too afraid to sleep and ended up all sitting up all night in one bed, with the dresser in front of the door...taking turns peeping out the curtain to make sure nobody was about to get us. Made it safely back to the track and got all 4 Greer cars to the finals, twice.

Oh and by the way....was this a motel where you paid by the night, hour or minute?

Sounds like a normal trip for a bunch of guys going to a drag race to me.......LOL. Only difference between our trips and yours is we had CB radios and cell phones weren't invented yet......LOL. Stay safe and good luck.

Come on now Big Dave Ok just gonna give a update on how 2day went 4 the MRC. Somehow we survived the nite at the sketchy motel and we got up bright and early(like 8:30) and headed 2 IHOP 4 our bfast of champions. After we finish up eating we head on back 2 the track 2 see Everette's car jacked up and tore apart. So he tells us that he makes it down 2 8cars just 2 get screwed bc they wouldnt wait on him and that he told all them Alabama hillbillies off. So then we get underway with practice where Kb goes perfect on the tree 4 the 3rd time so far this weekend and me and cj both made good passes as well. As we roll into 1st rnd we are all feeling good and thinking bout how good of a day its gonna be. It started out rough for kb as he lost in both entries(and the 2nd entry he bumps 013 red 2 a 028 red) what was he thinking. Me and cj roll thru 1st rnd. 2nd rnd starts and kevin says he is only gonna buy one entry back and he leads us off and loses the 3rd straight time and me and cj followed the lead getting beat as well. So Kb decides 2 go ahead and buy his other entry back and he manages 2 find his 1st win light of the day. All three of us roll 3rd rnd and are feeling good goin into 4th rnd. As the day b4 me and cj get dropped in 4th rnd and kb continues his winning ways. Kb is out 4 the buy goin into 5th rnd but dont get the bye but gets the win anyways, and the same thing happens again 6th and 7th rnd. Well finally Kb gets the bye run 8th rnd and is goin 2 the finals. The finals roll around and Kb doesnt slow down any where he rolls in the finals and wins the 10grander. Well then me and cj decide 2 get into the 2nd race which is a 5grander. I make a good practice run and cj had some technical difficulties. As we go into 1st rnd i go 001 at tree and give up stripe 5thou. Cjs difficulties continue so he gets dropped as well in 1st rnd. Since i feel like im driving good i buy back and go 4 2nd rnd where i break out 001. So all in all me and cj havent done much but KB kept us alive 2day. We stopped by taco bell and got some supper and now at the room hoping 2 make it thru the nite. Well im calling it a nite and check back for more results 2moro.

So Kevin won the big race and you and CJ are still running ok but didn't get any money yet. What happened to Evertte? Is he broken or did he get fixed? Congrats to Kevin on a great win.

Okay everbody this is KB gonna give some updates on day 3 at MMP!! We woke up this morning around 730 thanks 2 cjs snoring then headed 2 hardees for a quick breakfast then go 2 the track and help cj work on his car he experienced problems last night in the grander but anyways we thought he had carb issues and that didnt seem 2 fix it so we ended up changing converters because it wouldnt go on the two step and after cjs busted knuckles trying 2 break Chris's converter bolts loose we got the converter back in and it still didnt fix it so we parked cjs ride and he doubled up with sugar shane!!! Shane comes out swinging with a .011 package 1st rd and couldnt turn the W on kinda the way his weekend has been cj after hours of complaing about shanes ride being sketchy rolls out .002 with no practice run and drills his competion 2 pick up the W!!! I got passed first rd in both entries and then did the same in 2nd round cj lost and shane bumped a 004 green to a -.001 red what a bone head but anyways he ends up buying cjs entry back as cj continues complaing about shanes ride being sketchy and didnt wanna drive it and shane after a long staging battle 3rd round turns the W on and i got bye both entries 3rd round as well!!! Then 4th rd i won with one and lost with the other and shane experienced cranking issues with The Big Cubes that Ford has and the morons wouldnt wait on him 2 find a jump box so he definately got the shaft here i made it passed 5th rd and 6th as well then i lost at 6 cars by .002 so maybe we can get on them 2morrow cj may have found him a ride for 2morrow but not sure definately not shanes as he still continues complaing about shanes car being sketchy lol we will continue 2morrow with updates

Sorry Guys KB is a dummy shane lost 5th round and Dale Maddox Race Cars are the best around nothing sketchy about them. And when shane couldnt get his to crank CJ ran out of his shoes around the pits looking for a jumper box and ended up getting the shaft bc we found one and got it cranked and they wouldnt wait, we were all a little ill lol

Ok folks day 4 wasnt 2 good 4 the MRC gang. It started out bad when we was leaving the motel and had the sketchiest elevator ride we have ever had.(Im just glad 2 get out of that motel) Well then we got 2 the track and i decided 2 do a battery swap and change over 2 12volt for the day. Well i get everything out and get started when my generator makes a loud pop and starts smoking(thats not good) Just one more thing that didnt go my way thru out the weekend. Well we get started with the race and i flinch 1st rnd and go red and had a duck in the other lane. KB turns the W on in his 1st entry and decides not 2 run his 2nd entry. Cj ends up driving Panama Jacks car and he gets the W also in round 1. Well KB has some startes issues so he does some quick work between rounds on his but he gets dropped in round 2. Cj turns on the W yet again and im still so frustrated with how the weekend has went i dont even buy back. Well KB decides he has had a good wekend and hes gonna go ahead and call it a day as well and he doesnt buy back. So Cj is the only hope roling into 3rd rnd and he gets beat on a very good run. So day 4 wasnt a success 4 the MRC so we load up and head towards the house. The ride home went smooth and we stopped off 4 some zaxbys 4 supper and then headed north for South Carolina. We all made it home safely and all in all i guess it was a pretty good weekend. Congrats 2 KB and Everette on both doing some good over the weekend.

Congratulations to KB on his win, and to the rest of you for getting some good rounds in. Overall, it sounds like a good weekend of racing. At least you made it out of the Bate's motel in one piece. I hope everybody gets their starter issues fixed before Saturday, because I'm not waiting on you either!

This should go to show what we always say. If you can win at Greer, you can win anywhere. We have some of the best racers in the nation!
