I don't know if everyone has taken a chance to look at the latest Drag Review Mag.,because mine just got here today. I want to say that I thought the article in there about Greer was AWESOME. I think that it is good for our track as a whole to have that published.

Good find Sticks, mine has not come yet so I took a look at it online. That is a good read about Greer. I see they got a pic of Bobby (wish I was a Cook) Brown in there . Good thing we got some time before we start racing because he wouldn't be able to put his helmet on !

Sticks u beat me 2 it i saw the article yesterday evening and was gonna post it on here but didnt get a chance. I agree though it was awesome seeing a article on Greer in there. And as far as downtown Bobby Brown he may need a bigger helmet after gettin his pic in there!!!

I do got one question bout the article though it says that we r getting aluminum bleachers...just wandering if there is any truth 2 that?????

They started replacing the wood with aluminum on the bleachers in front of the concession stand last year. I don't think it's finised yet, but I haven't looked either.

Ben told me the other week when I stopped by that the aluminum is being used to hold the plastic down on the race track....or its just a place for him to be able to sit while at the track!!!

Thats just a joke, I'm laughing...nobody get their feelings hurt please!!

I played a lotta sports growin up and I have to tell you I did my share of bench warming and there are two ways to look at this ... one is aluminum has less splinters but dern it sure is cold

The other is wood might stay a little warmer but when your a big ol boy like myself you just cant trust it. Yeah Ive cracked some boards in my time. Well I dont forsee Greer adding any seat warmers so just bring ya a blanket and enjoy the SHOW!!!


Everything sure is looking great. I catch myself staring at the traffic lights a little harder as the time grows near! Im up on the wheel and ready to go.

Also just wandering if anybody has heard-Is the payout in all the classes gonna be the same? I know on Greers schedule it just shows bracket racing but dont say nothing on payout or any special races? Is all the pro class gonna run 2gether or have 4&5 sec class??? I was just wandering bc thats a question ive been asked alot from different racers that are thinking bout coming 2 GMAX in 2010

Not a problem Shane, not many of us do sit in them. lol They started replacing them right before the motorcycle race this past Sept.

As far as the payout, he hasn't told me anything yet but I will see if I can get it out of him. It's been hard to get him to stop long enough to talk to lately, for some reason. I'm not sure what has been taking all of his time? lol
