Anymore GMAX Pics ?

Post by ShaneArrowood »

Anybody had a chance to take anymore pics of the progress? Was told last night that the right lane had been done and the walls was being formed.

Arrowood the last ive heard is that they r workin on the footing 4 the walls and they r suppose 2 start pooring the walls early this week. If i have a chance im gonna go by there sometime and get some more pics or maybe Mark will get some sometime this week. Hopefully maybe Alisha will include some pics of the new GMAX in the pics at the banquet so everybody can see the progress.

I rode by there Saturday and just looked from the back gate, and I didn't notice anything different from the pics that are already on here and what others have said. I hope the cold weather will let up some so that it doesn't hinder any progress (If the weather affects that kind of stuff) I did like seeing the progress that has been done so far though!!!

The weather is not helping the process but they are still working. Digging the footing has been tough because the ground is frozen about 4 inches down. And you know it's bad when you have to cover up concrete with blankets..... :| Luckily the track is ok at this point without blankets but the footings have to be covered up on these cold nights.

Jay i think u can speak 4 everybody when u say ur excited bc i know the hole Maddox Gang is lookin forward 2 the 2010 season and hope 2 draw in new people and bring back some of the people that have left over the years.

I know that this cold weather has kinda slowed everything up but just wanted 2 suggest or say that maybe the saturday b4 Greer opens up if he still has a lot of lil things that needs 2 b done that we should have a work day. Idk bout everybody else but i would b glad 2 come over and help out and do whatever i could.

I rode by the dragstrip a few minutes ago and took some pics. I'll try and load them when I'm at lunch if I have a chance.
The footing for the wall is already poured in the right lane and workers are working on the forms for the left footing :!: right now.
