Points and Team Finals

I just posted the updated points on our websiteAlso, since we have very little time in between the end of points and the team finals I need everybody to help me out a little. This Saturday please make sure that the number you give them at the gate matches the number that is on your time slip and matches the number you write down when you claim your points. Most of you are very good at this and for that I Thank You!! When they don't all match it's a little hard to figure out your points.

My plan is to have the points posted by next Monday so that everyone can see where they finished and finalize your plans with work, etc.

If you know for sure that you are not going please go ahead and let us know!

......and Jay, I guess we can go ahead and make it official....going into the last points race with a 190 points lead that should make you the champion.......unless we have over 34 billion footbrake cars show up for a 36 round race...and if me and Daddy did our math correctly then Justin would have to win all 36 rounds to tie you!!

Wanna Congratulate the 2011 Greer Track Champions in their respective classes. Several repeat Champions and a couple of them consecutively.

Travis Dotson (tapw) picks up the S+H Carter sponsored Pro points for his 4th Track Championship at Greer. Travis also picked up the Shadyside Pro Track Championship last year.

Jay Norris picks up his 4th consecutive Footbrake Track Championship at Greer with taking home the CVS Builders sponsored Footbrake Division title.

"Big A" Adam Tapp wins the closest contested points battle to take home his 3rd Consecutive Jr. Dragster Track Championship for Team Greer in the Carlton Professional Tree Equipment sponsored class. Adam was only 15 points (3 rounds) ahead of Rat Poison Robbie Pettinato coming into the final points race of the season and the Championship was decided mano to mano in the 1st rd. of competition as Adam wins the round of competition and the Championship. What a great season for both drivers and what an exciting way to decide the Championship by settling it among themselves.

And not to leave the females out of the Track Champions is veteran Jr. Dragster driver Katie Pace picking up the Championship in the always exciting TCR Class. Katie held off last years Track Champ Houston Burch and the 2 met in the finals of Sat. nights race with Houston winning the battle but Katie winning the war.

Good luck to Team Greer going into the Division 9 Team Finals at Rockingham in 2 weeks....take it to the house!!!!!!!!!

Congrats 2 all the champions!!! It was some good battles down to the end!! Hope everyone is pumped bout the bracket finals and hopefully Travis "TAPW" Dotson and Jay "J-Train" Norris can bow up in the Summit Super Series run off and get the chance to go run at Virginia for the championship.
