) Each year we have a Practice Tree Tournament..As you can imagine with a bunch of Dotson's and Relatives, the tournament is very competitive!! We have 3 races with an overall points winner from the 3 races taking home the Annual Trophy!!In the very first race...Parker "Peanut" Dotson captured the WIN...In a post race interview he said, "I'm already tired of Winning"!!! Not but 7 years old and has accomplished everything he's ever wanted...

The Over-all points Trophy went to Byron Laughter who succeeded his wife Kim (Travis' sister) who had been the 2007 and 2008 Overall Points Champion!! Byron is the first 3 time Champion as he captured the title in 2003 and 2004 as well. He lead the pack with 3 titles followed closely by his wife Kim as mentioned above with 2 titles, Chad Dotson with 2 titles ( 2005 and 2006 ) and others with 1 title are Joey Dotson, Bubba Burnett, Travis Dotson and Donnie Dotson!!
The 2010 Tournament is setting up to be a tough battle again as alot of up and comers showed strong performances in the 2009 Event and with field of competitors already established, its bound to be exciting!!
